Legislators quitting the DPR have the full support of the public. Their action sets a good example for their fellow legislators, they say.

In recent days the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) faction has apparently become an `inconvenient' environment for some of its members. In the space of just one month, two leading party cadres have tendered their resignations as DPR/MPR (House of Representatives/Peoples Consultative Assembly) members.
