NO to Concurrent Positions
The majority of respondents in last weeks poll reject public officials concurrently holding positions in their respective political parties. The concern is that state funds will leak to parties.

Holding concurrent positions within the government and the political parties can lead to corruption and collusion. This view emerged because of the realities in everyday political life. On state visits, government officials would include meetings with party cadres in their official agenda. Conducting party activities at government expensethis is corruption!
