Collaboration with No Loser
Ensemble Gending, a karawitan (Sundanese traditional music) group from the Netherlands, collaborated for a music performance with a group from Bandung, Kyai Fatahillah.

THE stage was full. A mix of 10 foreigners in red shirts with 15 Indonesians dressed in black. All sat cross-legged. In their hands they held mallets or what in Sundanese language are called panakol. Together, they struck the metal keys and gongs of the Javanese gamelan. The composition, Kulu-kulu, opened in soft, slow and flowing tones.
