Hundreds of fishing boats donated by Kuwait are not seaworthy, unsuitable for Aceh's heavy seas. A relative of Vice President Kalla is said to be involved in their provision.

THE rows of fishing boats with "The State of Kuwait" written on them stood listlessly at the curbside in Desa Lambada Lhok, Baitussalam district, Aceh Besar.
