Russia Rules the Waves

The Indonesian Navy plans to add to its fleet of submarines, but the choice of buying Russian-made subs has raised suspicions.

A COMBAT training exercise in the Sulawesi Sea in mid-December was a cause of concern for the navy. A submarine from an unidentified country slipped into Indonesian waters off the shore of North Sulawesi.
