THE wishes of the asylum seekers are at long last fulfilled. After about three months of waiting at the immigration holding camp on Christmas Island, the 42 asylum seekers from Papua obtained temporary protection visas from the Australian government Thursday last week. They will soon be moved to Melbourne, said Australian Immigration Minister Amanda Vanstone.
