Illegal fees in Indonesian diplomatic missions abroad have been unveiled. Three immigration officials have been recalled.

THE sturdy man was standing near the entrance to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Malaysia. Neatly dressed in a long-sleeved, bright-colored shirt, he greeted people visiting the embassy office on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. Passports, marriage certificates, travel documents, ready in one day, said the broker to a young lady. Shaking her head, the woman entered the six-story building to process a passport.
