Customs officers sealed a hangar containing suspected smuggled aircraft. Two weeks later the planes were declared legal—but who owns them?

At the Saka Dirgantara Airport, Cibubur Camping Ground, East Jakarta, are five hangars. The hangars store sport aircraft. Recently, hangar number three contained two German-made ‘ultralight’ aircraft: CT Sport Wings. One of them was yet to be fully assembled. Wings and tail had been attached to the aircraft’s fuselage. However, the nose was left uninstalled. The plastic-wrapped machine was still on the floor.
