The Indonesian Army admits there are procedural mistakes in the ambulance-import project. Now their supplier is to blame.

THE mansion on Jalan Imam Bonjol 16 appeared hectic. Several construction workers were busy carrying timber and sand to renovate the left side of the imposing two-story house. Six cars were parked in the spacious courtyard. One was the latest model of a metallic sedan. When Tempo visited the place last weekend, its owner was out of town. “I’m sorry. Pak Fauzi is not home,” said a security guard.
