Burhanuddin Facing Jail
FORMER Bank Indonesia Governor Burhanuddin Abdullah is facing an eight year jail sentence. The prosecutor from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Rudi Margono, is also demanding that the defendant in a Rp100 billion corruption case involving funds from the Indonesian Banking Development Institute (YPPI) pay a fine of Rp500 million or serve six months in jail in lieu.
