Police in Surabaya have confiscated dozens of luxury cars, alleging they were smuggled into Indonesia. But customs say the cars were imported legally.

They sit lined up in front of Surabaya's Tribata building, police headquarters for East Java. Dozens of familiar brands of luxury cars like Mercedes, Jaguar, Lexus, Chrysler, Smart and Toyota RAV 4. They are all brand new and worth up to Rp2 billion apiece.
