Beatings and Blasphemy

SESSIONS on the Blasphemy Law were marked by the beating of two members of the Advocacy Team for Religious Freedom, Nurkholis and Uli Parulian by a number of persons claiming to be members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). The beating took place last Wednesday, close to the canteen of the Constitutional Court when the session was adjourned. “They accused us of being hypocritical,” said Nurkholis.
