HEATED arguments over the armed forces’ right to vote in the general elections are still ongoing but Defense Minister, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, seems to have decided. He stated that the debate regarding the right of Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel to vote in the 2014 General Elections need not continue. “It doesn’t feel quite ready yet,” he said last Thursday.
