Aulia Pohan Makes Parole
AULIA Pohan, a convict in the corruption of Indonesian Banking Development Foundation (YPPI) funds, was discharged from the Salemba detention house, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday last week. “He can return home,” said Justice & Human Rights Minister Patrialis Akbar. According to him, the former Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia has served two-thirds of his jail sentence so he is entitled to a conditional release.
