Against Wayang and Amithaba

ACTS of violence against works of art have recurred. On Saturday two weeks ago, a group of people calling themselves Laskar Jihad attacked a wayang kulit (leather puppet) show in Sembung Wetan village, Sukoharjo, Central Java. Famous puppet master Ki Slamet Gundono admitted he had got a report about the violence.
