THE array of dishes served up in a room at the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Command HQ detention facility in Kelapa Dua, Depok, remained untouched by the guards on Wednesday two weeks ago. The assortment of foods delivered on the orders of Gayus Halomoan Tambunan was prepared as a joint meal following Idul Adha prayers celebrating the Islamic Day of Sacrifice.

The order to serve the dishes was repeated over and over, urging that the food at least be
