WARM tea, boiled peanuts, and various kinds of sweet cakes were served in the library at the private residence of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), in Puri Cikeas, Bogor. On that Saturday afternoon two weeks ago, the host received five members of the Judicial Mafia Eradication Task Force. The informal meeting was to discuss a serious rumor: Gayus Tambunan’s accusation that the task force had manipulated his case.
