EVA Kusuma Sundari promptly raised her voice when asked about the planned new building construction in the House of Representatives (DPR) complex. The member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle faction had indeed from the beginning expressed her refusal of the project worth Rp1.138 trillion.

She was annoyed upon hearing that the consultative meeting between DPR and faction leaders on Friday last week decided to continue this project.
