Pangkalan Bun is getting back on its feet after bloody violence between Dayaks and Madurese migrants have left at least 10 dead. But all is not well yet in the Central Kalimantan town.

Things are starting to look the way they used to in Pangkalan Bun, superficially at least. People do not worry about going out on the streets, the markets are operating and workers are drifting back to their jobs.
