IT was getting late, but Lathifah Shohib remained at the National Awakening Party's (PKB) executive office in Malang, East Java, on Thursday last week. The legislative candidate kept staring at the incoming vote tally. She was convinced she had enough for a spot at Senayan. "Hopefully the PKB will get two seats from Malang," said Lathifah, 51.
