Regional Regulations Scrubbed
THE government last Tuesday demanded the revocation of 3,143 regional regulations that either contradict other laws, inhibit investment or undermine diversity. "The list of revoked regulations are already on our website," Home Ministry Director-General of Regional Autonomy Soni Sumarsono announced last week.
The revoked regulations include those that impose levies for items like the control of telecommunications towers, construction services, slaughterhouses and parking lots.
