There will be a Special Session held in Surabaya. This is not meant to impeach a president, but Mayor Sunarto Sumoprawiro. On 7 January 2002, the Surabaya DPRD will hold a plenary session where they will demand an accountability speech from Cak Narto, as the mayor is affectionately known. Amazingly, though his position is seriously threatened, this hounded official has failed to show his face in Surabaya to counter the challenge.
