In an apparent retaliation against the capture of JAD leaders, six armed men attacked a police station, before they were killed in a shootout.

From behind the bushes, a group of armed men responded with gunshots to the police's 10th appeal for them to surrender. The lopsided battle occurred in the forested area of Jati Peteng in East Java, around 11:20am on Saturday, two weeks ago.
