PDI-P Endorsed Police Generals
A number of active police generals will be endorsed by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) to run in the upcoming gubernatorial elections. All had served as police chiefs in their respective provinces.

INDONESIAN Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) chair Megawati Soekarnoputri finally announced two weeks ago that Murad Ismail will run as a candidate endorsed by her party in Maluku’s gubernatorial election. Murad currently serves as a police inspector general leading the National Police’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob).
