Carry On Chaos
The two fragments of the divided National Awakening Party (PKB) are each calling extraordinary conferences. There was a chance Mega might attend the one led by her defense minister, Matori Abdul Djalil. Whether or not she shows up, it looks like the bickering twins are here to stay.

These are tense days for that part of the split National Awakening Party (PKB) now led by Alwi Shihab, a stalwart supporter and defender of ousted former president Abdurrahman Wahid. His bit of the divided PKB is known these days as PKB Kuningan, since its headquarters are in the part of Jakarta known as Kuningan.
