MD3 Law Causes Chaos
The law is turning the Parliament into a ‘superpower’ institution with the advice and approval of the government. No regulation in lieu of a law (perpu) will be issued.

Rather than easing the twists and turns for the ratification of the MD3 Law on the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), the House of Representatives (DPR), the Regional Representative Council (DPD), and the Regional People's Legislative Assembly (DPRD), President Joko Widodo is instead 'muddying the waters'. Last Wednesday, he tweeted that he would not sign off on the draft agreed by the DPR two weeks ago.
