In less than two months, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has apprehended five regional head candidates gearing up for the election campaigning period which will last until June. The candidates are all incumbents standing for a second term reelection.

They are Ngada regent Marianus Sae in East Nusa Tenggara, Subang regent Imas Aryumningsih in West Java, Jombang regent Nyono Suharli in East Java, Central Lampung regent Mustafa, and Ken
