THE West Java Police has issued a letter terminating its investigation into Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab's alleged defamation of the national ideology Pancasila and against Indonesia's first President Sukarno. "The investigation was terminated in February," said West Java spokesperson, Sr. Comsr. Adj. Trunoyudho Wisnu Andiko last Friday.

Trunoyudho says the investigation was put to an end due to the absence of strong evidence.
