A feud between the Board of Supervisors and Board of Directors at TVRI has culminated in the dismissal of Helmy Yahya. Even the Presidential Palace is getting involved to try and settle the matter.

AT the 1945 restaurant of Hotel Fairmont, Jakarta, two disputing parties, the Board of Supervisors and Board of Directors of Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI), had a meeting on Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 2019. Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G. Plate acted as mediator.
