In his work as an intermediary for the rich and powerful in trouble with the law, Raden Dodi Sumadi often got close to the elite. But now Dodi himself is in trouble with the law, they don't seem to want to know him any more.

Raden Dodi Sumadi, 52, appears to have indeed acted as a go-between, fixing up meetings between people with money and people who conceivably might solve their problems for a share of that money. His main line of work seemed to be working for former top state officials, or their families. Apart from Tommy Suharto, Dodi also `worked' Beddu Amang, the legally troubled former head of Bulog, the State Logistics Agency.
