MEETING with mass media editors at the State Palace on Wednesday, January 19, President Joko Widodo conveyed his ambition to build the nation’s new capital city in East Kalimantan. He said that four to six offices of government ministries and the Presidential Palace would move to the location of the new capital in the Kutai Kartanegara and Penajam Paser Utara Regencies, starting in 2024.
