Two foundations have collected money from the public, promising to give millions of rupiah in return from the disbursement of Bung Karno's wealth. An old but still effective trick.

Kalut Munaf is becoming increasingly troubled. The 60-year-old resident of Punggur village, Pontianak, should have received Rp15 million last September, as a small portion of Bung Karno's fortune which the board of Amalillah Foundation told him would be immediately disbursed. It was an empty promise though father of three Munaf, paid the foundation Rp25,000 a year ago.

This sum was a hefty enough one but the offer was tempting enough for him
