Generals are alleged to have played a hand in the recent raid on the office of Kontras in Jakarta. So far only those who took a direct part in the incident have been arrested.

The office of Kontras (Commission for Missing Persons & Victims of Violence) is now back in order. The broken glass window panes have been cleared and tables shifted back to their original positions. About 100 people ransacked the office some two weeks ago. In the wake of the raid the Central Jakarta Police have made seven arrests of persons directly involved in the incident. The mastermind remains unidentified, let alone arrested.
