Tamsil Linrung and his two friends are still under arrest in the Philippines. Not only has the Indonesian government delayed their response to this, the same inaction can be seen in Tamsil's party, PAN. What's wrong?

IT is ironic: Tamsil Linrung, Agus Dwikarna and Abdul Jamal Balfas have been detained for 60 days in Camp Crame Prison, Manila, and the Indonesian government has yet to be of any assistance. Similarly, Tamsil Linrung's colleagues from the National Mandate Party (PAN) are twiddling their thumbs.
