AKBAR Tandjung was in a real hurry to leave his office. His Volvo sedan sped off to the headquarters of the Golkar Party in Slipi, West Jakarta. There was an important guest waiting for him there. None other than Jusuf Kalla, the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare. It was a closed meeting between the two of them and lasted for one hour.
