Many Indonesians are welcoming Lebaran in less than celebratory mood. Here are TEMPO’s observations of how the holiday is being celebrated in refugee camps.

Nunukan

A sense of stillness is almost everywhere in the refugee center that houses Indonesian workers in Mambunut, Nunukan in East Kalimantan. No longer are there the long queues for food, medical checkups or a chance to have a shower. Only 18 families of Indonesian migrant workers
