JUST like any other village around the Pasir Nangka tea plantation in Sukanagara, Cianjur, West Java, Cisuren was slowly crawling into the quiet of the deep night. Resting after the busy day, the villagers were sound asleep, tucked up in their beds. Outside, it was cold and drops of dew formed on the ground. It was 10:30pm by the clock in Ibu Umi's house. The shrill sound of nocturnal birds was heard indistinctly in the distance.
