Sarmudas Undermine Reputation

The Saudi Arabian Government has taken into custody 118 women workers from Indonesia. Some are said to have been be involved in the sex trade.

A very embarrassing piece of news involving Indonesia appeared in Saudi Arabia last week. Authorities in this Middle East country were reported to have detained a total of 118 Indonesian women workers netted in a police raid. The women, according to the wire service report, were said to have committed various offences. Some had been charged with allegedly violating the moral norms by being involved in prostitution.
