PRESIDENT Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has proposed a candidate to succeed the Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander in Chief, as current incumbent Air Marshal Djoko Suyanto’s term will end December 2.  

Minister/State Secretary Hatta Radjasa said the President had decided on one undisclosed name. “This coming Monday the name will be announced to the DPR (House of Representatives),” he said.
