FORMER Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense & Security in the period 1993-1998, Gen. (ret) Edi Sudradjat, passed away at Gatot Subroto Army Hospital on Friday last week. Edi, 68, was buried in the Kalibata Heros Cemetery on Saturday morning.

According to Brig. Gen. Djoko Riyadi, director of the hospital, Edi had received medical treatment since he was admitted to the hospital on November 19. He was rushed to Gatot Subr
