Waste of a Civil Summons

The tax director-general should be broadminded when he gets feedback from the public. A civil summons for clarification only shows a defensive attitude.

IF Director-General of Taxes Hadi Poernomo is truly interested in cleaning up his department, the summons to Kwik Kian Gie last week is not the way to do it. Poernomo can send letters to Faisal Basri asking for clarification on his charges of revenue leakages, but it seems strange for him to demand proof. Kwik and Faisal are economic analysts, not private detectives investigating cases.
