Is there any benefit from Sweden's detention of GAM leaders for the people of Aceh?

TWO officials of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM)—Prime Minister Malik Mahmud and Foreign Minister Zaini Abdullah—were set free by the Huddinge District Court in Stockholm after two days of detention last week. Swedish law, it seems, sets the time limit for detentions to no more than 72 hours.
