Flirting with Taiwan

Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian and his entourage managed to overnight in Batam, because the government was helpless in forcing the tired pilot and crew of the presidential airplane to take off.

IF the accusations are true, the behavior of our officials is indeed pathetic. Chui Yi, a member of the Taiwanese opposition Kuo Min Tang Party, said that President Chen Shui-bian bribed Indonesian officials so his airplane could land in Batam for refueling and his party allowed to stay overnight, contravening Indonesias One-China Policy. The incident happened a week ago last Thursday.
