No Immunity

All funds collected by a state body must go into the state treasury and be audited. The Supreme Court is no exception.

SUPREME Audit Agency (BPK) Chairman Anwar Nasution declared that payments for costs of civil cases in the Supreme Court, which are not paid into government funds, should be seen as illegal. But the Supreme Court (MA) maintains there is nothing wrong with such payments, the practice is common in many countries in accordance with legal regulations, and that the BPK has no authority to audit these case costs.
