THE Adam Air plane fell out of the skies over Sulawesi on January 1, and the government and the airlines management acted efficiently. The families of the victims were taken to Makassar and given free hotel accommodation. Although they were disappointed at the initial false reports at finding the airplane, the families were pleased when Vice President Jusuf Kalla allowed them to take part in the search. They had been protesting about the lack of
