IT stands to reason that people are calling for the government to revise the Regulation on the Protocol and Finances of Provincial House of Representatives (DPRD) leaders and members. Published in November 2006, Government Regulation No. 37/2006 seems to ignore the needs of the people. With a struggling economy and a series of disasters, the regional representatives will enjoy several large allowances that could empty regional coffers.
