Cutting down the telephone interconnection rates is a good policy. Phone calls must become cheaper.

AMID the negative news of floods and soaring prices, thankfully there is some good news: the Communications & Information Department will cut down the telephone operator interconnection charges. The consequences of this policy are interesting. The costs of cellular phone calls, which are almost a "basic need" for all levels of society, are certain to fall by 20-30 percent by the end of April.
