Misdirected Discipline

The Bekasi administration plans to apply a curfew for students. There are more disadvantages than benefits to this course of action.

GOOD intentions come to nothing if they are not done the right way. This message should be passed on to Bekasi Mayor Mochtar Mohamad, who is determined to push school students in his area to work harder and study more. In this way, the quality of education will improve, he says. It is a noble aim.
