Red Light for Young Smokers
The majority of smokers in Indonesia are children and youths. The situation is serious enough that the government must immediately ratify the Convention on Tobacco Control.

THE World No Tobacco Day which fell on May 31 was truly appropriate in the case of Indonesia, where one of society’s biggest challenge involves smoking and tobacco. To be precise, it is the eradication of the sale of tobacco products to children and youths.
This is indeed heavy, but if we are serious there are many ways to manage the threat of tobacco and a number of its products on the young generation.
