Although Urip was found guilty and sentenced, the prosecutor’s bribery case is far from over. All involved in the BLBI case must be questioned.

THE 20-year jail sentence for prosecutor Urip Tri Gunawan handed down by the Corruption Court last week was entirely appropriate. The official, who had “sold” his position—and his respect—by accepting bribes, fully deserved the maximum sentence.
